Islamic Republic of Iran s nuclear program is one of the most important topics and issues in Iran and at the international level. Since being introduced, this program has been criticized and somehow rejected by Western countries and mainly by the U.S. These countries claim that Iran may want to access nuclear weapons; but the Islamic Republic of Iran believes that all of her nuclear activities are peaceful and within the framework of the International Atomic Energy Agency obligations. Using content analysis method and covering three years (1385-1383), this article assesses highlighting news of Iran s nuclear energy in VOA and BBC Persian websites with regard to gate keeping concept and agenda setting theory.
