This paper will answer the question: is it possible to extract elements of a theory on managing time and planning from the book: “Eat the Frog”. From this point of view, this paper attempts to evaluate and analyze the theoretical approach of the author of the book. In order to determine the theoretical patterns used in the book I will use the innovation theory of Rogers. In order to answer the above question I will first introduce Rogers’s definition of theory and what I mean by content analysis and then I will analyze the elements used in the book to specify the theory of managing time and planning. In the end, I will show that the answer to the question has been positive.
