The present research was conducted with the aim of identifying the role of intercultural communication in economic relations. The concept of intercultural communication, as one of the newest concepts in the field of culture and communication, seeks to identify, understand and adapt to the communication differences between different cultures. Considering the competitiveness and speed of changes in today's economic relations, having skills in intercultural communication can provide a special competitive advantage in these relations. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach and through semi-structured interviews with 8 cultural and economic experts. The information collected through theme analysis and coding and categorization was used to determine the normality of the data using the Kolomorov-Smirnov test, and to evaluate the validity of the model, the one-sample t-test was used, and AHP was used to rank and extract the weight of the dimensions and components.The findings of the research showed that in economic relations, 3 central factors, 16 main factors and 48 effective indicators play a role in intercultural communication. In the cultural factors, cultural intelligence, in the political factors "political stability" and in the economic factors "public finance" has been allocated the most weight according to experts.
Cultural factors are one of the main components of shaping and success in economic relations. According to the opinion of experts, the role of these factors has affected even the material factors in some cases and the benefits of economic relations are not only based on material and instrumental benefits, and the identity and ontological benefits have gained more priority and value for economic actors.
