Intercultural philosophers have taken into account attention to the other and the way of his acceptance as one of the basic conditions and consider it as a reflection of the cultural, ideological, social and "concert of cultures" requirements of the realization of the unity and thought of each society. Mere knowledge of the teachings, goals, and aspirations of intercultural philosophy does not contribute much to world peace without striving to apply it; Rather, we must look for ways to implement this ideal. Poetry as an influential art is a good source for practical application of the teachings of cultural philosophers in any society and a test for identifying the cultural capacities of the target community against this global approach. Lyrical genre in the literature of any nation, especially by appearing in it, is an invaluable tool for exploring ways of expressing one's identity in the face of "other." In this study, a collection of love poems from the eighties and nineties decades in Iran, with the aim of identifying methods of recognition, communication, dialogue and other’s identity, with what is presented in intercultural philosophy, has been studied and the findings of the research indicate that looking to the other, especially a close one, in this type of poetry is most similar to the intercultural philosophy teachings
